The assignment

Turn a protocol whitepaper into a usable platform where clients and workers can create jobs, agree milestones, fund escrow and release USDC payments across supported chains.

What I owned

Protocol architecture, Solidity contracts, cross-chain logic, frontend, backend, testing, deployments, and the production path from MVP onward.

How I implemented it.

One shared job system across chains

I structured the protocol around canonical job state and escrow on Arbitrum, with local contracts for users on Optimism and XDC and governance contracts on Ethereum. This gives the product a shared record of jobs and milestones while letting users interact from supported chains.

Separate instructions from money movement

I integrated LayerZero V2 for cross-chain job actions and governance messages, and Circle CCTP for native USDC transfers through burning and minting. Messaging required explicit peer, verifier and executor configuration; payments required separate fee, finality and destination-receive handling, including Standard Transfer for XDC.

Make cross-chain progress visible and recoverable

A confirmed source transaction is only one step. I built status tracking across LayerZero delivery, canonical job state, Circle attestation and destination receipt. Relayer readiness checks and wallet-assisted recovery for supported funding and payout flows help users resolve stalled transfers without repeating the original payment.

Design for changes after launch

I used UUPS upgradeable contracts with versioned implementations, storage checks and staged bridge cutovers. Production verification included destination state and balances. A recorded XDC–Arbitrum job cycle covered posting, application, escrow funding, work submission, milestone release and payout back to XDC.

Own the infrastructure behind the interface

When external IPFS upload providers became unavailable, I added provider failover and an AWS-hosted IPFS pinning service with persistent storage and scheduled backups. Uploads go through the backend so provider credentials stay out of the browser and the product can keep accepting job content.

What I owned

Built the core platform across Bubble.io and Solidity, led development of the staking interface and smart contracts, and helped build the NFT marketplace with a cross-functional team.

Delivery

Delivered staking contracts that held real user funds and contributed to an NFT marketplace that processed actual sales. The work extended from the user interface to the contracts handling assets.
